We participated in the National Night Out this year and had everyone meet at our house. It was mostly a meet & greet to see who lived around us as well as to find out who would be interested in the Neighborhood Watch program being set up in our area. We were lucky enough to have two officers from the Sheriff's department come out and they each brought their own cars.It was so much fun. They let all of the kids (young and old) get in the car, talk through the PA, run the sirens, run the lights, and climb in the back and get locked in. The neighbors that didn't come out to meet with us probably didn't appreciate it much but those of us that knew what was happening had a blast.
