Feeding Fish with Nana
This was the trip to the Plant Farm to get Nana her Mother's Day hanging basket. We had been there before but I don't think we had ever noticed the crazy carp in the pond. They were so greedy that they would climb on top of each other to get the little pellets of food we were throwing. Flying Heritage Fly Days - Eastern Front Day
Today was the 'Eastern Front Day' which meant the German Messerchmitt Bf 109 and the Soviet I-16 Rata would be flying. That meant the boys were off to Everett to see some action.

Scotland 2010
We didn't know we were going to Scotland until the day we were flying out due to the volcano eruption. We had no time to prepare or to even know how long we would stay there. We ended up having 6 hours to go into Glasgow, which was enough time to find Starbucks, hop on a double decker tour bus, and get back to the airport. We were so lucky to have that little side trip and no extra charge!

Iceland 2010
We ended up being routed through northern Iceland, to a small airport in Akureyri. The scenery was so beautiful and on the way in we could see the ash plume from the volcano erupting. Look in the upper right picture, you really can see the dark spot that looks like a smudge and that's the ash plume. I do hope that some day we can go back to Iceland and actually get off the plane.
